The Clover Finance (CLV) project, created by Viven Kirby, Norelle Ng, and Burak Keçeli in May 2020, went live with its mainnet in July 2021. Also known simply as Clover, Clover Finance is a blockchain operating system. As a DeFi service platform, Clover promises to provide an easy-to-use blockchain infrastructure for substrate-based applications and a framework compatible with the Ethereum virtual machine (EVM).
Clover is one of the products of the Polkadot parachain. Its aim is to address compatibility and scalability issues that arise while creating and operating blockchains.

Clover prioritizes reliability and privacy; it offers peer-to-peer trade capabilities. This means that transactions between two accounts cannot be stopped or controlled by anyone. There is no single governing body managing the Clover system; CLV token holders have a say in the system. The funds you own are entirely under your control. Clover does not store any personal information and guarantees the anonymity of the individual.
